October 29 !

4 years back, this day, this very day, I stepped into the most memorable part of my life!
Yes, this was my first day at MSRIT. 4 years has shaped me, molded me into the person I am today. Tons and tons of fun, never ending laughter, pranks unlimited!!

I still remember walking down the corridors of the civil block all frightened, with a typical fresher look on my face, searching for my first class room, CEH-9. The classroom dint have room number board! The first class of my engineering career was 'The elements of civil engineering'. The first person I spoke to was Arundathi....

Amazing place, where I met the world's best people !! All of you guys have made me live my life to the fullest :) Thank you all! Wishing each one of you success and good luck!

Dunno how many of you will be in touch forever, but one thing for sure... I ll never forget any of you and even a single day in these four years! Missing you all so much....

A new beginning

Yes, it a new beginning. A beginning to my professional life. 2 weeks back I joined my first job at Nokia Siemens Networks. NSN is a telecom based company which works on mobile communication, the technology which caused a revolution. Its real fun and exciting to be a part of such a wonderful technology.
It s been just one and half month I completed college and i m already here working. 6 of my frnds joined NSN with me. But we are all put in 7 different departments. The first day was an induction program at hotel Park. Next day on we were in our company s campus with the employee badge around our neck :) I was made to meet my manager and I found 2 other new joinies there. Its been nice fun meeting new people and learning loads of new things. Just, training going on. And I m sure the work is going to be really exciting...

Only memories last forever

Hi ppl ! I know its been a really long time I made a post ! I donno if it was my academics (finally its over!) or my laziness has kept me away from blogging. Well, I apologize for this.

I make this post to tell you about yesterday. I say its a day that's going to be in my memories for ever. A long awaited day! I met my best-est friend, after 3 years!! It was still early in the morning when I got a call from her and I was just out of bed. We planned to meet up. I quickly completed my driving classes and left to her home. You know how it feels to meet your best-est friend after so many years!! It just can't be expressed in words. Then we went shopping and a movie. We chatted all day... Stories of past... Stories about present. And then we went for a walk in sankey silently listening to our common favorite songs. I can't believe she still remembers my favorite songs! Later in the evening we had to bid goodbye to the other, ending the wonderful day.

It got back all those memories of my college days... Those days I miss so much... I long to get back too ! Time just flies even before you realize it. But you can't help it. You have to move on. All that can be done is wait for those few minutes when you can meet or atleast speak to the people you care the most about. Its only memories that will stay with us for ever!

My first off-campus interview

Today I attended my first ever off-campus interview with a company called mFormation. I had never heard that company until I got a call from them. Well, it doesn't matter, it was my first interview outside the college. This was the first time I had an opportunity to take a look inside what u call a software company. The place looked like a completely new world to me. Its so unlike our colleges and classroom. I can't believe the company was so silent. Hardly any murmurs, hardly people speaking anything.

No wonder all my seniors keep telling, 'Enjoy as much as u can in college. Once you are in a company you can't have that much fun'. I totally agree with them. I seriously wonder if I ll get adjusted to this so called corporate life.

// they jagged me with 3 rounds of tech interview and 1 round of HR. But, its ok... I attended a proper interview. Got a feel of a real interview. Results will be out in a week.

Udbhav 08

Ah! writing a post after a long time! Can't help.. this semester has kept me really busy... I make this post to tell you about udbhav, my college fest. It started this tuesday and wud go on till saturday. The best part (i would call) of udbhav is the amazing dress codes we have during that week.
Tuseday was dots and checks day... quite boring. But still, it was nice to see people in colorful dots. Only guys were in checks. Wednesday was tri-color day. We had to come in one of the colors in our National flag. oops! i missed that day cos i had to prepare for my seminar scheduled on monday.

Wednesday was chor police day.. wow! people had to dress up like chor(robber) or police. I had the shock of my life when i saw my friends dressed like chor. They looked so much like hi-fi robbers, i really got scared for a minute. I really appreciate their guts! There was ILM prelims too. I hadn't practiced nor did i have a faint idea i would participate. I dunno what happened to me, i badly wanted to sing when i saw the stage and the mic. It was so tempting. I dunno from where i got the guts, i went and registered and i SANG! Finally, at the end of my college life I got some guts. Probably thats the only thing I learnt in engg ;) But the best part was not that i sang. Dee got motivated seeing my impulsiveness and she too took part(in carnatic... an amazing singer man!) and she WON ! she got first prize! I m so happy for her! :)
Today, the 4th day of udbhav 'Ethnic Day'. Wow!! I wore a saree... aaa... the costume i like the most. But believe me, its really difficult to stay in saree all day! But I dont mind. I love it. Also it was rose day. I too got some. But, the most shocking of all was, when I got a rose from an unknown guy... He said he has heard me in mukthi and liked my talk! gosh! I can't believe ppl remember I spoke in mukthi! Mukthi has made me famous :)
Tomorrow is T-shirt day. We'll havta go in the college T-shirt. Dunno if i ll go. I gotta prepare for this stupid seminar. I pity myself :(

ps: this is my last udbhav. I m gonna miss it !
